I. Yru Urman
T´was at the dawn of all we know that Eru bade the Ainür to be
Ending an eternity of solitude one Lord of all foresee
The coming of the ages hence, a firmament, a place to be revealed
Eä could emerge, containing Arda and his children thus concealed
Music of the Ainür held the key to make the vision real for all
And in the heavens shone a jewelled host, hidden was the flame to call
And all we know from before time and a future yet to be unsealed
The life of all, the land, the sea, the light, the dark and all that one can yield
The Ainür made a music as had never been before so great to hear
We sense the presence of the music all around us
But one of their great brethren sought to dominate replacing love with fear
A sense of darkness filled the minds of all there gathered
Striking power tumult ensued, calling now his own kind to him near
He called them unto him proclaiming now his own theme
Until Eru, the Lord of All arose declaring themes anew and clear
So clear we hear the beauty all around us now
The Ainür saw Eä and knew the plan for them to toil and make it real
A vision held the key to making Eä real
For time it had begun to realise the form and life itself to feel
Eru had sent the secret fire out into the void
Never since was any sound or music so great made in any time
It filled the timeless halls and out into the void
Though it is said that when days end a greater music still will sound and climb
The three great themes of Eru will be performed aright

From silence came a sound, a vibration of love
Flowing through emptiness, into form
Taking Shape is what we see, it´s what we understand now
Shaping our world, form Eä, making all

It's all a matter of taste. I love this album. I love it's serenity, the beautiful instrumentation, orchestration and the great production. Ambient is not my cup of tea either, but this album crosses the borders of ambient music and prog. In other words: an awesome album! Martin Melis
